Sylvester Williams, 30 pounds lighter, hopes for big season

Sylvester Williams thinks that he's a better, smarter and more efficient football player heading into his senior season at North Carolina. He will be given every chance to prove it. The Tar Heels are installing a new defense under first-year coach Larry Fedora, and Williams, a tackle, will be expected to be one of the top linemen and maybe the player around whom the line is built.
