Karl Towns, top-rated player in 2015 class, to visit UNC Wednesday

According to multiple reports, center (Metuchen, NJ), Scout.com's top-rated player in the 2015 recruiting class, will visit UNC on Wednesday. He will follow up that visit with trips to Duke and possibly NC State on Thursday. Despite his young age, Towns participated as a member of the Dominican national team this summer, gaining valuable experience and playing against some of the world's top players.

One advantage UNC may have in Towns' recruitment is that he is personal friends with current UNC guard . However, Towns' Dominican national team was coached by Kentucky head coach John Calipari, making Kentucky one of the top contenders at this point.
