UNC Recruiting Week In Review

News and notes from the past week in UNC basketball and football recruiting:
Basketball
Julius Randle, the top-rated power forward in the 2013 recruiting class, has released his in-home visit schedule, his top-10 list, and has a new highlight video. Roy Williams will visit Randle on September 10th, the day after NC State and Kentucky stop in. Randle will also visit Kentucky on September 15th.
Center Karl Towns, the #1 player in the 2015 recruiting class was offered by Kentucky on Monday.
2014 4-star small forward Reggie Cameron from New Jersey has listed UNC among his final-7. Roy Williams will stop by to evaluate Cameron in an open-gym session on September 11th.
2013 5-star small forward Jabari Parker visited BYU on Thursday, August 30th. Parker continues to keep all of his options open.
In addition to Shabazz Muhammad, the NCAA is now investigating UCLA's recruitment of Tony Parker and Kyle Anderson. Muhammad and Parker both signed with UCLA after being heavily recruited by UNC.
Football
2013 UNC running back commit T.J. Logan had a huge night on Friday, rushing for 316 yards and 5 touchdowns against Greensboro Dudley. Here are Logan's highlights.
After a slow start during his opening week, top UNC receiver target Marquez North bounced back in a big way on Friday, scoring five touchdowns.
Quarterback Mitch Trubisky, a 4-star UNC commit from Ohio, also put up big numbers this weekend, passing for 411 yards and rushing for 86 in a last minute victory.
All-everything running back Ryan Switzer, who will play receiver for UNC in 2013, sat out Friday night with a concussion suffered in week one. But he's back at practice now and ready to go this week.

Several top recruits and commits were in attendance for UNC's blowout win over Elon on Saturday. Here's the unofficial visitor list.
Rutgers appears to be leading for offensive guard Dorian Miller, but UNC is still in the mix and considered to be among his top two choices for one of UNC's two remaining scholarship slots in the 2013 recruiting class.
UNC may have landed a future visit from 2013 UGa offensive line commit Brandon Kublanow.
2013 4-star defensive end Tyquan Lewis from Tarboro has set an announcement date of September 20th. He appears to be down to Ohio State and UNC, with Ohio State seemingly in the lead.
Several more UNC offers went out this week to 2014 running back Donte Thomas-Williams, 2014 receiver Cameron Phillips, 2016 defensive end Shane Simmons, and 2014 Georgia defensive end Andrew Williams.
