Indiana Pacers hire Matt Doherty as college scout

The Indiana Pacers hired former North Carolina basketball coach Matt Doherty to be a college scout. Doherty coached Notre Dame for a season (1999-2000) before leaving for North Carolina for three seasons. He followed that with stints at Florida Atlantic and SMU. (Indianapolis Star)
