Rasheed Wallace promises a ‘golden ball’ chase

Rasheed Wallace officially is a Knick, but a cautious Mike Woodson gave no guarantees he officially will be part of the squad once the regular season starts Nov. 1. But Wallace sounded optimistic and all but guaranteed the Knicks will chase the “golden ball” — his phrase for a championship trophy. Wallace, 38, already has won one title with Woodson, an assistant on Detroit’s 2004 championship team.
