Former Heel Dexter Reid arrested on gun charges in Chesapeake

Dexter Reid, a former Indianapolis Colts football player, was arrested outside a Chesapeake restaurant Thursday morning on a fugitive warrant stemming from a gun charge in Virginia Beach. The 26-year-old Norfolk native attracted police attention shortly before noon after parking his car illegally in a handicapped space at a Chick-fil-A in the 1500 block of Sam’s Circle off North Battlefield Boulevard, police said.
