Ed Davis' father swayed by North Carolina

Father knows best. That’s one of the biggest assumptions by Virginia basketball fans when the topic of Ed Davis is broached. In July, Davis, rated by one recruiting service as the second-best high school senior in the country, chose North Carolina over UVa. Speaking for the first time since his son gave his verbal commitment to the Tar Heels, Terry Davis admitted he was a guiding force in the decision-making process.
