Man-to-man challenges on the football field are nothing new to Hakeem Nicks. In fact, they’ve always brought out his best. But this one happened to take place in his suburban Charlotte, N.C., home, although the Giants can only hope the heartfelt conversation between Nicks and his father during the team’s bye week ultimately produces similar results between the lines.
