T.J. Logan rushes for 510 yards, 8 TDs en route to state title


of Northern Guilford found a way to shine the brightest again in the NCHSAA 3-AA state championship Saturday night. Logan set two new all-classifications championship-game records by rushing for 510 yards and scoring eight rushing touchdowns in a 64-26 win against Charlotte Catholic. Logan had scoring runs of 46, 27, 80, 85, 19, 14, 82, and 73 yards to lead Northern to its third straight state championship. His eight touchdowns broke T.A. McClendon’s mark of seven for Albemarle in 2001. (Winston-Salem Journal)
