Five UNC Football Commits Named to Associated Press N.C. All-State Team


Raleigh Wakefield receiver , a North Carolina recruit, received 16 of a possible 17 votes from sports writers across the state to lead the Associated Press all-state prep football team for North Carolina for 2012. Northern Guilford running back , another UNC recruit who led his team to a third straight state title, had 15 votes. Durham Hillside defensive back Korrin Wiggins, Albemarle offensive lineman , and UNC preferred walk-on invitee (offensive line) were the three other Tar Heel commits named to the team.
