Shumpert, Zeller make UNC official visit
Posted Sep 19, 2007
Two of the top remaining uncommitted basketball prospects in the country, Washington (IN) center Tyler Zeller and Oak Park (Ill.) shooting guard Iman Shumpert, made official visits to North Carolina over the weekend. The 6-4, 185-pound Shumpert, who is currently the No. 26 player in the Rivals 150 for the Class of 2008, enjoyed a breakout summer on the AAU circuit, where he caught the attention of the Tar Heel coaching staff. Shumpert has narrowed his final choices down to UNC, Georgia Tech, and Marquette.
