Tar Heels thwart Hokies' Green with solid defensive effort

It was UNC walk-on guard who had to play the role of the Hokies’ high-scoring guard Erick Green in practice. His biggest contribution was constantly driving on the Tar Heels’ regulars in an attempt to draw contact, forcing them to play defense without fouling. That proved useful as, for the first time this season, Green did not get to the free throw line. (Fayetteville Observer)
