High school football players from the state of North Carolina make up seven of the 17 signees for the University of North Carolina. In-state recruits for the Tar Heels include Jordan Fieulleteau (Wakefield), Khris Francis (Hillside), Nazair Jones (Roanoke Rapids), Desmond Lawrence (Charlotte Christian), T.J. Logan (Northern Guilford), R.J. Prince (Albemarle), and Brian Walker (Mallard Creek).
