New York Giants sign Madison Hedgecock

The New York Giants were awarded former UNC fullback Madison Hedgecock off waivers from the Rams Wednesday and released Robert Douglas, who was the only true fullback on their roster. Hedgecock (6-3, 266) played in 33 games in three seasons with the Rams and made 16 starts. He also contributed on special teams for St. Louis and will probable be asked to do so for the Giants.
