East Carolina Outlasts UNC, 34-31

East Carolina prevailed over North Carolina, 34-31, on a UNC special teams blunder that resulted in a game-winning 39-yard Pirate field goal. Conner Barth walked onto the field with 49 seconds remaining, preparing to kick the Tar Heels to victory with a 52-yarder. But a botched special teams execution left holder running for daylight, only to be tackled on the East Carolina 47-yard line. (Inside Carolina)
