Roy Williams watches 2015 PF Luke Maye

was in Greensboro, NC Thursday night to watch 2015 power forward (6'7", 225, Hough HS, Huntersville, NC), according to Adam Powell of Tar Heel Illustrated.

Maye is the son of former North Carolina quarterback and seems poised to assume the role from passed down from UNC commit as one of the next great big men from the Charlotte area. Maye's Hough squad knocked Meeks' West Charlotte team from the playoffs on March 1st.

The Charlotte Observer profiled Maye back in November, discussing his athletic lineage and development as a solid post player with strong perimeter skills. It's unclear how strong an interest UNC currently has in Maye, but he's definitely on the radar as an up-and-coming recruit. Maye currently holds scholarship offers from Davidson and Charlotte.
