North Carolina and East Carolina haven't played since 2003, but the in-state rivalry returns tonight just in time for new UNC coach Butch Davis' first road game. Sold-out Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium is sure to be an inhospitable atmosphere. "I've heard they absolutely hate us ... I don't know the reasons why," Tar Heels quarterback T.J. Yates said recently.
