Bruce Carter to get first start for Heels

Havelock High School football fans watching the ECU game Saturday might recognize the starting Sam Linebacker on the field, but he won’t be wearing purple and gold, he’ll be wearing Tar Heel Blue. Former Havelock High School standout Bruce Carter will make his first start for the North Carolina Tar Heels after the previous starter, Chase Rice injured his ankle, ending his season.
