Isaiah Hicks named NC Gatorade Player of the Year

J.F. Webb High School senior Isaiah Hicks has been named the 2013 North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year in boys basketball. Hicks, a University of North Carolina signee, stands at 6-foot-8 and 210-pounds. He helped lead the Warriors to the 3-A state championship earlier this month. In the state championship game against Statesville, Hicks fouled out in overtime with 34 points, 30 rebounds and seven blocked shots.
