Jackson Simmons an unexpected closer for Tar Heels

Four starters huddled around to offer encouragement after he missed his third straight free throw. When Simmons finally converted on his fourth try, he headed to the bench with only a few seconds remaining in North Carolina's 78-71 victory against Villanova. He wasn't on the court when the final buzzer sounded, but he filled in capably as a closer. (Fayetteville Observer)
