Roy Williams visits Rashad Vaughn
Posted Mar 26, 2013
North Carolina coach Roy Williams traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota Tuesday to meet with 2014 5-star shooting guard Rashad Vaughn and his parents at Vaughn's high school, according to Vaughn via his Twitter account.
Vaughn is one of three shooting guards in UNC's 2014 basketball recruiting class to have received an offer from the Tar Heels, joining Devin Booker and Theo Pinson. There's been no word yet on how the meeting went, but Williams met with recent UNC point guard commit Joel Berry and his family under similar circumstances, and Berry committed not too long afterwards.
Vaughn visited UNC in early March for the UNC-Duke game and is a strong candidate to accept one of the remaining wing slots and join fellow 2014 commits Berry and small forward Justin Jackson.
