Posted Mar 29, 2013
Bentley Spain was sitting in class when he received a text message Wednesday saying he had been invited to compete in the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. "I had to contain myself," he said. For Spain, a 6-feet-6, 293-pound offensive tackle from Charlotte (N.C.) Providence and the No. 100 overall prospect in the 247Composite, the invitation came three days after he had a dominant showing at Sunday's Nike Football Training Camp in Charlotte.
