UNC's Cooter Arnold Suspended Indefinitely
Posted Aug 29, 2007
Junior defensive back Cooter Arnold has been suspended indefinitely from the team, a North Carolina official confirmed Wednesday morning. The 5-10, 190-pound Mocksville native is listed on the Week 1 depth chart in a two-way tie for second-string free safety. As a true freshman in 2005, Arnold started the season opener and played in all 12 games as a running back. He totaled 187 rushing yards, but was then moved to defense for his sophomore season.
