Roy Williams offers 2014 SG Robert Johnson
Posted Jul 29, 2013
Robert Johnson (6'3", 180), a 2014 consensus 4-star shooting guard from Richmond, Virginia, has received a scholarship offer from Roy Williams, according to FOXSports basketball recruiting analyst Evan Daniels via Twitter:
"Robert Johnson scored an offer from UNC today."
With the recent suspension of P.J. Hairston and the lack of a pure shooter in UNC's 2014 basketball recruiting class, the Tar Heels have a great need for a long-range threat. Johnson fits the bill here and joins fellow shooting guard targets Rashad Vaughn and Devin Booker in possessing active offers from UNC.
Vaughn Tweeted late Sunday night that he would be "Cutting my list in the next couple of days," so this offer to Johnson definitely comes at an interesting time.
