Butch Davis kicks up his Heels after turning back cancer

There is no "good time" for a diagnosis of cancer. For Davis, a new coach charged with building a winner, spring practice was about to start. His cancer treatments raised the question of whether Davis would be absent. Davis never missed a day. "We had a lot of respect for him when he came here," North Carolina senior tight end said. "But we have even more now. He was pushing through hard times. He showed us we can't cry about little things now." (Fort Worth Star-Telegram)
