Trimane Goddard looks to return to starting role

Trimane Goddard missed last season after a freak injury during a flexibility drill, robbing him of the chance to build on a solid sophomore season in which he started the final six games. But he has already impressed new coach Butch Davis just five days into preseason camp, giving him the chance to wear that yellow jersey that denotes a team leader in practice.
