Butch promises more line dancing

Junior tackle Garrett Reynolds has never been a part of an offensive line that rotates the way first-year North Carolina coach Butch Davis described Friday. Last season, Reynolds said, five or six linemen might play the whole game. Before the Tar Heels' first preseason practice Friday, Davis said he has told players that all the second-team offensive linemen will play before halftime in the Sept. 1 opener against James Madison.
