Hakeem Nicks goes without a catch in his hometown

Sporting a Tar Heel light blue sport jacket in honor of his college team and playing in the city where he was a high school All-American, Nicks arrived hoping to play a key role in a win over the Carolina Panthers after an injury kept him out of the Giants’ big victory here last year.
