Miami Heat signs point guard Larry Drew II

Former UCLA point guard Larry Drew II signed with Miami the Heat, the team announced Monday. Drew, the son of Milwaukee Bucks coach Larry Drew, will join Eric Griffin, Justin Hamilton, Michael Beasley and Jarvis Varnado in training camp as players with non-guaranteed deals. Camp begins Oct. 1. Drew is considered a long-shot to make the team.
