ESPN hires George Karl as TV analyst
Posted Sep 30, 2013
George Karl, who won the NBA's coach of the year award last season but also lost his job, is joining ESPN as a studio analyst. Karl, the coach of the Denver Nuggets from 2004-05 through last season, signed a multi-year deal with ESPN but will clearly keep an eye out for a return to the sideline. He previously worked for ESPN as a studio analyst during the 2003-04 season.
