The North Carolina football team fell to 1-4 (0-2 ACC) Saturday in a 27-17 loss at Virginia Tech. Here are three reasons why UNC lost: 1. Big plays: Logan Thomas threw for 293 yards and three touchdowns, capitalizing on a couple of big plays — caused by defensive lapses — to jump ahead 21-7 by halftime. (Daily Tar Heel)
