UNC, Nevada ink deal to play three games
Posted Jul 24, 2007
It was only fitting that Roy Williams was in Northern Nevada, considering he and Mark Fox have agreed on a three-game series over the next three seasons. The series will start in the 2007-08 season. Two of the games will be played in Chapel Hill, N.C. The contracts have yet to be signed, and dates haven't been released. The last time North Carolina played Nevada in Reno was the 1987-88 season, and the Tar Heels won 115-91.
