Marcus Paige prepared during the offseason to play some minutes at the shooting guard position. But when asked who - in the absence of P.J. Hairston, Leslie McDonald and J.P. Tokoto - played small forward in North Carolina’s recent scrimmage against Vanderbilt, the sophomore pointed his thumb inward and smiled. “For stretches, yeah; it was unique,” Paige said. “I’ve never done that before.”
