James Michael McAdoo had 19 points and 10 rebounds to help No. 12 North Carolina beat UNC Pembroke 82-63 in an exhibition game Friday night. Freshman Kennedy Meeks scored 11 points for the Tar Heels, who played without leading scorer P.J. Hairston and Leslie McDonald due to NCAA eligibility concerns. Sophomore J.P. Tokoto also sat out.
