Deon Thompson making the most of his summer

is getting an opportunity to develop his game this summer in a way that should help make him a huge factor for Carolina when basketball practice rolls around in October. Thompson is playing for the U.S. U-19 national team in world championship competition. His minutes and his production rose when Kansas big man Darrell Arthur broke a leg and was lost to the team.
