Rashad McCants last played in the NBA as a member of the Sacramento Kings in 2009. He appeared in four games for the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League last season, averaging 19.8 points. On Saturday night, at approximately 10:40 p.m., he walked onto an empty court at the Smith Center with a basketball and a backpack and went through a solo workout.
