Posted Jan 4, 2014
Roy Williams was on the recruiting trail Friday night at the Cancer Research Classic Tournament in Wheeling, West Virginia to watch three 2015 big men square off.
Bishop Gorman High School (Las Vegas), featuring 5-star centers Stephen Zimmerman and Chase Jeter, defeated Cleveland's Villa Angela-St. Joseph, starring 5-star power forward Carlton Bragg, 73-60.
Zimmerman finished with 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting to go with eight rebounds. Bragg fouled out in the final minute after scoring nine points. Both Zimmerman and Jeter hold offers from UNC.
Kentucky coach John Calipari was also in attendance, and both he and Williams spent time posing for pictures with fans and event organizers.
