Tight end commits to UNC for 2008
Posted Jun 20, 2007
UNC has its first football commitment for the 2008 recruiting class, from tight end Randy White of Bristol, Va. White, a 6-5, 230-pound rising senior at Virginia High, made his decision after attending UNC’s three-day camp last weekend. White’s high-school coach said that coaches at Virginia Tech and Tennessee indicated that they were going to offer White scholarships. But Smith said when he asked White what Tennessee could do to get his commitment if UNC also made an offer, White said: “Nothing.”
