RB Elijah Hood, WR Trevon Lee top UNC, Duke recruiting classes
Posted Feb 4, 2014
Both Duke and North Carolina are adding star power in this year’s football recruiting class. The Tar Heels landed theirs last month, when running back Elijah Hood enrolled in classes for the spring semester. UNC will be getting the state’s AP football player of the year for the second straight season in Hood (6-0, 220), who played at Charlotte Catholic. Hood led the state in rushing yards with 3,157 as a junior and then ran for 3,690 yards as a senior, the second-best mark in state history.
