Despite the Tar Heels' running an array of defenses aimed at slowing him down, Bryce Cotton raced his way to a game-high and career-high 36 points---almost single-handedly pushing the Friars into the Round of 32. But UNC stubbornly found a way to pull through, as James Michael McAdoo converted a pair of clutch free throws in the final five seconds to push UNC to a 79-77 triumph.
