Malik Newman, Diamond Stone a package deal?
Posted Mar 29, 2014
Malik Newman hasn’t said much about his impending recruitment to date. His final decision could be the same as another top 2015 prospect in Diamond Stone, a 6-10, 240-pound center from Milwaukee. “He’s like one of my play brothers,” Newman said. “We were really thinking about being a package deal. Hopefully that works out. Maybe you’ll be seeing us two play together again.” Newman and Stone played together last summer on USA Basketball’s U16 National Team, which won the FIBA Americas Championships in Maldonado, Uruguay.
