Point guard Drew says UNC his college choice
Posted May 25, 2007
Larry Drew Jr. has decided that playing in college for North Carolina and Coach Roy Williams will provide the best training for getting to the NBA. Drew, a 6-0 point guard from Encino, Calif., committed yesterday to become the first in North Carolina’s 2008 recruiting class. He also considered Arizona and UCLA. “I thought it was the best time to make my commitment,” said Drew, whose father, Larry, played in the NBA for 10 seasons.
