Larry Drew to UNC

Larry Drew has decided to become a Tar Heel. The 6-0 rising senior point guard from Woodland Hills (CA) Taft committed to UNC late Tuesday evening. Drew, who averaged 19 points, nine assists and four rebounds for Taft last season, is ranked by Scout.com as the No. 4 point guard in the Class of 2008 and No. 41 overall. He picked Carolina over offers from Arizona, UCLA, Texas, Washington, Gonzaga, California and Louisville, among others.
