Hardison enters N.C. Sports Hall of Fame
Posted May 22, 2007
Former UNC All-American defensive tackle Dee Hardison received a tremendous honor this past week, as he entered the ranks of the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame. Hardison was a stalwart in the trenches for Bill Dooley's last ACC championship team at UNC. "I played football for fun. I didn't play for the glory; I didn't play for any awards. I played because I enjoyed the game, and to be up here with these great gentlemen and just realize that people thought I was a pretty good player; that's awesome," Hardison said after being introduced by another N.C. Hall of Fame member, longtime Duke announcer Bob Harris.
