P.J. Hairston is a volume scorer, and that’s precisely what he put on display as a member of the Dallas Mavericks’ D-League affiliate. But in the process of reinserting himself into the June 26 draft conversation — he’s expected to work out for the Celtics on Tuesday — Hairston may have also shown the way for others who lose faith in the tried and true college method.
