Brad Daugherty to open restaurant in South Asheville

Brad Daugherty, NASCAR analyst, former Cleveland Cavalier, and Black Mountain native son, will open the “casual-upscale” Daugherty's American Kitchen & Drink in south Asheville next month. The restaurant will open officially on July 16. The menu is seafood-heavy, has a number of vegetarian options, and only offers three red-meat entrees.
