Restored eligibility ‘a blessing’ for both Farmer and Tar Heels

Larry Fedora was the last person Ethan Farmer expected to see when he got out of class last Wednesday. But he sure was glad to see him. The UNC football coach had just found out that Farmer, a senior defensive tackle, had won his academic appeal and would be eligible to play the 2014 season. And he didn’t want to wait until practice to tell Farmer the good news.
