ECU puts up historic numbers in 70-41 rout of UNC

After ECU put up 55 points and 603 yards in Kenan Stadium last year, UNC vowed that this year’s rematch would be different. It was — UNC’s defense was even worse. Historically worse. The Pirates scored more points and posted more yards (789) than any UNC opponent ever as a school-record crowd of 51,082 watched ECU dominate its in-state rival 70-41.
