Hough High senior basketball player Luke Maye plans to choose a college and sign in November, his father told the Observer. Mark Maye said his son, a 6-foot-8 power forward, will choose among Clemson, Davidson and North Carolina. Luke Maye, a three-time All-Charlotte Observer performer, is ranked No. 2 in North Carolina behind Kinston’s Brandon Ingram by the N.C. Prep Phenom Report, which closely follows statewide basketball recruiting.
