Some 30 years removed from rookie season, Michael Jordan now plays a different game

As part of UNC tradition, each summer former Tar Heel players return to campus and compete against the current crop of college kids for a training camp tune-up. One summer in particular, Walter Davis and Phil Ford, then established NBA players, experienced the surprise of their life. Both Davis and Ford had the pleasure of guarding a 17-year old freshman named Michael Jordan.
